Recently, there has been an increase in fraudulent activity where scammers pose as employees or managers of Adviros (known as Manpower until October 2025) in order to trick people into transferring money or gaining access to their banking apps, government portals, and other personal accounts.
We would like to draw your attention to this issue and help you recognize scammers and protect yourself from potential financial losses.
How to recognize a scammer?
Scammers find your contact details from public sources and reach out to you pretending to be an employee or manager of Adviros or Manpower. They may:
- Message you via messengers and even send fake voice messages recorded to sound like one of the managers.
- Use accounts that lack direct contact information (such as a phone number or username) but which fully copy the profiles of real Adviros or Manpower employees.
- Call from numbers with foreign country codes, e.g., +1, +49, and others.
- Send links to third-party websites (remember: the only official website of Adviros is www.adviros.ru; the former Manpower website is www.manpower.ru).
- Insistently pressure you into transferring money for services (job placement, visa processing, tickets, etc.), most often to personal bank accounts.
Scammers never use official Adviros or Manpower email addresses and prefer to communicate exclusively via messengers.
What to do?
Do not transfer money.
Adviros employees (Manpower until October 2025) never ask candidates to pay for any services. Job placement for candidates is free.
Verify contacts.

Report fraud.
